Nanaki, about that band project we discussed before. I think it’s time for us to start making it a reality.

Band project...? Oh, right, we talked about it when we celebrated my birthday¹. We said it’d be nice to form a band together.

Yeah. I figured it’s about time for us to get things moving. In fact, I’ve already got the Chief on board as our manager candidate. The rest just depends on your answer, Nanaki.

Of course, I’m down for it. Having the Chief with us would also be…really reassuring. Besides, I can’t wait to hear you play, Raito-san.

Glad to hear that! If we’re going to do this, then I’m gonna give it my all—so don’t go easy on me, alright?

Got it. How should we organize the lineup? You were interested in playing the drums, right?

Yes, I’d prefer that, if possible… But I’m worried that I’ll end up causing you trouble, just like when you taught me piano.

No, not at all. I know how fast you pick things up. I’m sure it’ll be fine.

So that puts you on drums, Raito-san...and I guess I’ll play guitar.

Right, which leaves us needing…a vocalist, a bassist, and a keyboardist.

Um, how about having Murakumo-san as our vocalist? He has a really sweet voice, and I think his looks would pull in a lot of fans, too.

That’s a great idea! Let’s go with that.

Then, the bass forms the band’s foundation, and since the rhythm section needs to be totally in sync with the drums, I wanted to see who you’d prefer...

In that case, I’d like to nominate Yukikaze.

He and I used to be classmates, so we’re on the same wavelength most of the time...or, I don't know, maybe we just get along really well... I didn't truly come to realize that until recently, though.

I think that’s a solid choice. Kamina-san has a genuine talent for embodying music through his performance, so I’m sure he’ll be a strong support for our band.

Next up is the keyboardist… Personally, I’d like to recommend Nagi.

Hachinoya-san?

Yeah. I always feel it when we go on bike rides together—there’s something about Nagi’s unique sense of pace that really draws me in.

…I think I get what you mean. But if we’re talking about that, I’m interested in the idea of having Ryui-san join us as well.

Tosaka, Ryui-san and I talk from time to time. I can tell that Ryui-san has incredible taste. Plus, he seems to have a real love for music.

And I feel like he would be a great vocalist, too. Hm… What a tough call to make.

You’re right…! I bet Ryui could pull off some cool mic work.

In that case, why don’t we reach out to those four—Murakumo-san, Kamina-san, Hachinoya-san, and Ryui-san—and see if they’re interested?

Yeah. The more people we have to share this dream with, the better.
